Mighty Hoops
How Does It work ?
The Mighty Hoop features strong magnets that can be used on almost any embroidery machine. By using machine-dependent mounting plates (brackets), it is a universal tool for clamping the object to be embroidered. It is no longer necessary to adjust the outer hoop of the hoop to the thickness of the material to be hooped, as the magnetic force of the two hoops holds the material and automatically adjusts for the different thicknesses (up to 3 millimeters) and obstacles such as buttons and zippers.
Mighty Hoop is the latest invention patented by Midwest Products Inc., the innovators of the HoopMaster. The HoopMaster are the best selling commercial embroidery in the world. Its patented features make it the easiest, fastest and most reliable clamping system available in the industry. Machine width for the Brackets
See the list at the bottom of this page to see if we need a measurement for your brand.
If your machine is in the first group at the bottom of this page, we will need measurements of your existing hoops so we can provide you with the correct adapter brackets for your new Mighty Hoops. Please measure at least one of your 6 inch hoops and any jackback hoop sizes you have. Even if the hoop of the cover is bigger or smaller than the one you order, send us all different sewing sizes. This will tell us what sewing field sizes your machine can take. You can measure in inches or millimeters, but millimeters is easier to be accurate.
Barudan machines
If you have a Barudan machine, we also need to know if you have the EFP or QS brackets. Here are photos of the ends of each of these brackets. The EFP was used on machines that are at least 5 years old or older. Only look at the ends of the braces, the length or shape of the rest of the brace will change on different sized braces.
If the end of your brackets looks like this, you have the QS style.
If the end of your brackets looks like this, you have the older EFP style.
Meassurement per brand
The x’s indicate that we can make a Mighty Hoop for the specific machine and sewing area. You can tell us the actual mm or inch size or the manufacturer’s size. Example: If you have a SWF with 494 mm hoops, please let us know the sewing area 494 mm, 19 7/16 or SWF 500.
